if you have Photoshop scan in in multiple pieces, then file -> automate -> photomerge (in CS) or file -> new -> photomerge

If no photoshop, then find a panorama stitching software (windows live gallery or something like that.) 

Might have a little cleanup to do, but we use the photoshop photomerge on larger photos at work and it almost always works perfectly.

I'd probably use MS paint hardcore mode and even out the pixels somehow....

It definitely is an awesome art style. And that totally happens to me every single time I see someone playing a game in public. XD

It got a bit uncomfortable when I kept staring at a little kid who was playing his DS...

Can do w/o valentines shenanigans, but it fits nicely.
