Have been listening to the new 9mm Parabellum Bullet album all day now. It is pretty good!

And now I will check out that 8bit thingy!

Also, for another AWESOME chiptune band, try Pornophonique. They are from germany, sing in english and the songs are damn great!

Listening to a longtime favorite band of mine, Murder By Death. It's surprising, given what you'd expect from the name. They just put out a new album entitled Good Morning, Magpie that I have yet to listen to, but they are definitely worth listening to. One of the bands who I'm making a point to see live before I die. Adam Turla, guitarist and vocalist, is one of my favorite singers of all time.

This is one of their more popular songs, but it's fucking great regardless.

Thanks for the Zen Albatross hookup, I've been trying to find some of his stuff to listen to, outside of YouTube.

Lately I've been revisiting some things like the (Serial Experiments) Lain soundtracks, as well as bôa's "The Race of a Thousand Camels".

Thanks to Topher and RMS, I've been getting to know Go!Go!7188, though what I have isn't nearly enough and I'll have to go out and find more sometime, once I've got a little cash in pocket.

Besides that, a little of The Pillows and The Servant here, a little of the The Red Elvises and Electric Light Orchestra there. Sporadic moods of late.

Currently checking out my Smash Bros. Brawl OST...so there's that.
But this month has mainly been dedicated to the new Gorillaz album, Plastic Beach.
Didn't really like it at first, but I can't seem to stop listening to it.

I know Topher likes Gorillaz, maybe he could share his thoughts on Plastic Beach...?

Unrelated- it's always time to mention Concrete Blonde. They're probably my favorite band of all time and Johnette Napolitano has an amazing voice and wonderful lyrics. If you know about them at all then you've heard either "God is a Bullet" or "Joey". I however, prefer songs like Heal It Up. Showcases her range. I was lucky enough to see the band play a few years ago on their last tour. Amazing.
