My eyes are pretty sensitive to light too, I have to squint all the time when I go outside on a nice day. I also have photic sneeze reflex. Hoping the lenses will do something about at least one of those things.

I can't venture outside without polarized sunglasses. If I do I'm blind for the rest of the day.

UV isn't all that amazeballs for more intense rays, but its definitely handy for a lot of situations.

Traditional sunglasses hecka more effective. But perscripted sunglasses... hmmmn.

That fucking rocks! I had to bend over backwards just to get a mediocre pair of glasses for cheap. They donít look bad, but I would kill for some UV lenses.

In other news, last night I spilled a giant cup of water all over my computer. It dripped through the top and got on stuff. Wiped up what I could and had a fan on it. Not sure how much got into parts, but from what I see right now it looks pretty dry. Gonna keep the fan on until later tonight (24hrs) and see how things look. If not, might go to 72 hours. If itís borked then thatís my entire career in the shitter for now.

The frames were 65 or something. I think they're like last year's or whatever so they were cheaper than usual. I could've gotten out of there for the price of lunch if I'd picked some regular non-designer ones, but they were all really goofy looking. Point is, the same trip would've been $500 or more back home.

Yep, plenty more bang for buck things over there I'm sure. Just gotta be careful of whats crap or not.

Imports from Japan is generally similar pricing to what you get stateside though. Maybe its different depending on store... dunno. Only ever visited so much places that sold that stuff.

Just went to the eye doctor and got a comprehensive eye exam, picked out the cute Japanese frames I liked, got the fancypants UV blocker lenses and everything, with no insurance whatsoever,

$80.

Guys, China is alright.

It doesn't seem like it was the power supply itself, but one of the sets of wires.

Common mistake, if you plan to upgrade it, may as well have a beefy power block.

Nothing to do with the OS. It was my power supply. Wasn't getting enough power to the HDD on boot so it couldn't spin up to the right speed. Switched the cables around and it boots perfect every time now.
