That game sounds Rockmelon as fuck, I'll give it a real hard look every time I open eShop. Guessing I'd need your guide next to me the whole time. Good read.

Oh my god, this game looks so fucking cool. Girl Band Sim. Loving the characters, too.

The last time I tried to play a Japanese game was before I'd learned some Japanese. So who knows how I'd fair now. Probably not very good. But it'd be an interesting test, hahah.

The last time I played a game that was in all Japanese was the very first Project Diva on PSP a million years ago. I enjoyed myself, but navigating the menus was such a hastle that I just didn't wanna do it again. So now whenever there's a game I wanna play that will seemingly never get a western release I play it only if there's a fan translation patch available.

Gal Metal looks/sounds fun, but unless they add some sort of English language option for the menus I just don't wanna go through that again.

But just because I don't understand the language it was created in doesn't mean I'm gonna call it a broken mess, holy shit Polygon. What the fuck is that about? Anyway, dug your review Topher. Should start up a Siliconera style site just to review all the niche games no one else who speak english wants to touch because language barrier.

Movies / Films you've seen recently

Black Panther was a whole lot of style, fun and awesome.

I find it interesting, that these superhero movies are so very predictable. I had fun and the movie definitely had me. In retrospect the story was not very good, very obvious in it's beats. At the same time, this being an introductory story it probably could not have been anything but that. At least there was no fridging, all the characters were well played, even though some were a bit shallow. Dang that movie is cool.

I reviewed Gal Metal because my contract with FamiKamiSama states that I must pretend to still be a game journalist every few years.

Yeah that does look cool. Good repping the OG JP card back too.
I've wanted to do this with the Penny Arcade card game since I've seen the same thing in their webseries.
However I haven't found a frame with the exact specs I need (I dont want it looking like trash with gaps) nor the money to pay for a massive frame to put all the cards on.

For those that like lady fronted punk-ish music

My brand of lady punk is more along the lines of "she might kill me in my sleep but that's okay".
