Rockmelon Soda is a tiny, humble media outfit, independently owned and operated.
Its primary function at present is to serve as a home for The Journalism Show,
with future projects cropping up along the way as inspiration dictates.

The Journalism Show

The Journalism Show is produced entirely as a 1-man operation. It is drawn, written, animated, directed, edited, and voiced by Topher Cantler. The project was started in late December of 2009, on a whim, by a guy with no experience whatsoever in Adobe Flash. This hopefully explains why it’s not very good.
Silly as it may seem on the surface, however, TJS is actually full of meaning and really does have a heartfelt story to share with you at its core. I hope you stick around to see how it unfolds.

And The Quiet Girl Spoke

And The Quiet Girl Spoke is a series of web-based storybooks about a doll named Mari. If you’ve seen later episodes of The Journalism Show, you will recognize her as the little doll Aki Beedog is always carrying around with her. The stories serve as a closer look into the background of the characters and settings present in TJS, but my hope is that they will also be something that can be enjoyed all on their own.
